WIFI is unlimited and complimentary. The password can be found within your log cabin. Please note, we cannot guarantee the level of service, availability, quality, or bandwidth etc.

Due to the extent of wildlife right on the doorstep of each log cabin, Swinney Wood has a strict no pet policy.

Swinney Wood Log Cabins are exclusively adults only. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted.

Due to insurance regulations you are prohibited from having visitors at Swinney Wood Log Cabins.

Barbecues are strictly prohibited due to the woodland location.

Cancellation Protection provides you with complete peace of mind and allows you to cancel your booking prior to arrival regardless of the reason, you can simply just change your mind.

Customers covered by our Cancellation Protection will be entitled to the following (less the cancellation protection fee):

A full refund, however, if you cancel within 48 hours of your allocated check-in time this will reduce to a 50% refund.

Please note: Our cancellation protection covers you until you arrive on site after which refunds cannot be given if, for any reason, you decide to leave early. You may wish to take out your own holiday insurance to cover this.

If you choose to take the Cancellation Protection this must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Cancellation Protection is non refundable, unless your booking is cancelled by Swinney Wood Log Cabins.

Refunds:

If we refund you in line with the terms above, we will return your money in the same way that you made your original payment, back to the same payment card, for example.

How to claim:

Step 1. Call Swinney Wood Log Cabins on 07934819690 or email us at enquiries@swinneywoodlogcabins.co.uk detailing your request to cancel.

Step 2. We will respond to tell you whether we are able to give you some money back – and the amount.

Step 3. We will pay your refund to the card you used.

Swinney Wood Log Cabins are not wheelchair friendly; each has a staircase to the mezzanine floor.

Apricity also has external steps leading to the front door.

Each log cabin has a designated car port close by.

The booking schedule is:

  • 3 nights from a Friday
  • 4 nights from a Monday
  • 7 nights from a Monday or Friday
  • 10 nights from a Friday
  • 14 nights from a Monday or Friday

The minimum stay is 3 nights

This only differs over the festive period when the booking schedule may change and 2 night breaks may be offered.

If booking prior to 6 weeks before your arrival date the deposit is 25% of the holiday cost plus the premium for the Cancellation Protection.

If booking within 6 weeks of your arrival date the full balance is required.

If you do not wish to take out the Cancellation Protection you must indicate this at the time of booking.

Yes, you can add packages while booking online or add these at a later date. If you would like to add any extras within 2 weeks of arrival please email us at enquiries@swinneywoodlogcabins.co.uk to enable us to check availability.

The current arrival time is 04.30pm and the departure time is 09.30am.

Early check in or late check out is £50.00 and can be added at the time of booking or added to your booking at a later date subject to availability

  • APRICITY: Early check in of 2pm
  • KOMOREBI: Early check in of 2pm

You can pay your balance online.

Approximately 7 days prior to arrival you will be sent an email containing a unique key code to access your log cabin.

Please do not attempt to gain access prior to your allocated arrival time

Considering the current situation there are a few extra procedures that we have had to put in place to protect both our guests and our staff:

  • Protection for cleaners: Appropriate PPE equipment and training for cleaning staff to enable them to work safely and to appropriate guidelines.
  • Cleaned and sanitised: Using anti-viral disinfectant for all surfaces and high touch areas.
  • Increased cleaning time: Allowing extra time for additional cleaning during changeover.
  • Removal of non-essential items: Temporarily remove items which are more difficult to keep clean and hygienic.
  • Hot Tub care: Cleaned, sanitised and checked daily to industry standards.
  • Safer check-in: As standard prior to each stay guests will receive a unique key code to access their log cabin. It is not necessary to encounter anyone.
  • Hygiene: Hand sanitiser is available to use in the entrance porch of each log cabin.

If at any time prior to or during your stay any member of your booking experiences any coronavirus symptoms, then please do contact us straight away. We will not be able to allow any guests on site showing these symptoms.

Guests can book with confidence and know that if the log cabin is unavailable due to government restrictions, the following options will be available: Transfer to a future date at the same property or a refund of the amount paid.

If the guest cannot travel for this reasons, they should contact Swinney Wood Log Cabins at enquiries@swinneywoodlogcabins.co.uk or on 07934819690 as soon as possible and explain the situation and the reason why they are unable to travel.

We will review our policies as and when needed in line with any government advice as it is issued.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the log cabins. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area in your car port and use the cigarette bin provided.

A complimentary basket of logs will be in your log cabin and the fire will be set up ready for you to light on your arrival. If you need more logs you will find a log store in the back of your car port which has sacks of logs at £5 per sack. Please put the cash payment in the honesty box which you can also find in the log store
