Legal Ceremony Locations
We are fully licensed for legal weddings and civil partnerships. These ceremonies take place on the decking of Serein log cabin — offering a private setting with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
If the weather isn’t on your side, you can step inside the log cabin for an intimate inside-outside wedding. With the patio doors open, you’ll still have the breathtaking Derwent Valley as the perfect backdrop for your vows, ensuring your ceremony remains beautiful and immersed in nature—whatever the weather.
Booking Your Ceremony
Once we’ve received your initial enquiry, our Senior Wedding Coordinator, Katy, will be in touch to discuss your preferred dates and the best way to bring your dream wedding to life.
If you’re planning a legal ceremony, Katy will then contact the local registry office to check availability and place a provisional hold on your chosen date. This will be held for 48 hours, giving you time to contact the registrar directly to confirm your ceremony and make payment.
From there, Katy will be with you every step of the way — guiding you through the entire planning process and making sure everything runs smoothly right up to the moment you say “I do.”
If you’re planning a symbolic ceremony instead, Katy will work with you to shape something personal and meaningful, ensuring the moment reflects you both perfectly.
